Get involved Events Lister Abseil STATEMENT REGARDING POSTPONEMENT It is with a heavy heart that, following the latest guidance on coronavirus (COVID-19) about avoiding public gatherings, we have decided to postpone the Lister Abseil Challenge which was due to take place on 2 May. We have taken this decision as supporter safety continues to be our main priority, and we will announce a new date for the event in due course. All of our valued supporters will be guaranteed a space for the rescheduled event. If you are unable to take part on the new date we cannot offer a refund of the entry, but would be delighted to offer you a complimentary space for an alternative charity event (just let us know if any of our other challenges take your fancy) or you will be guaranteed a complimentary space for 2021’s Lister Abseil Challenge. We will send an official confirmation email once a new date has been decided, but please contact the team if you have any questions in the meantime. The funds raised from the abseil and our other events will be supporting the amazing work undertaken in our hospitals – helping to fund extra medical equipment, support services, advanced staff training, refurbishments and cutting-edge research projects. I am sure you will agree that our incredible NHS team are continuing to put others first and are going above and beyond to look after our patients and the community we serve. If you would like to leave a message of support and say thank you to our dedicated staff members by making a donation, you can do so by visiting www.enhhcharity.org.uk/donate - some of the funds donated will be used to provide care packages for our frontline staff as part of our new #HereForEachOther campaign. We apologise for any inconvenience caused from postponing the event and we would once again like to express how hugely grateful we are for your ongoing support to our hospitals.
