How you money helps

All profits raised from both events will go towards supporting the amazing work undertaken by Mount Vernon Cancer Centre – helping to fund the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, specifically the Complementary Therapy Service.

During lockdown, our team at the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre our are working hard to adapt our support to reach out to patients and loved ones during this difficult time. Your money will help us to provide guided telephone relaxation, support sessions and create online relaxation video guides and breathing techniques.

Since the beginning of the lockdown our Complementary Therapy team have provided 349 individual sessions to people, many of whom were at home on their own.

Our priority is, as always, to support people with cancer in the best way we possibly can through this difficult time. We cannot do this without your support and we rely on voluntary donations to run some of our services.
As a huge thank you from us, anyone who raises over £50 will be entered into a prize draw as part of their fundraising efforts.
