A team of 20, including staff from Lister Hospital and Stevenage Leisure Limited, didn’t let Storm Hannah dampen their spirits as they took part in the Warrior Adrenaline race to raise money for the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity.

Despite strong winds and freezing conditions, the runners battled through obstacles at the race in Hertford to raise over £1,000 for the charity. The money raised will be used to fund top of the range equipment and world leading research across the Trust’s four hospitals.

Speaking after completing the race, Nathan Eyre, a trainee nursing associate at Lister Hospital said:

“We took part in the Warrior Adrenaline Race to challenge ourselves to something different, whilst raising funds for the Hospital Charity in order to go above and beyond, which will better the experience that our patients receive. I couldn't have asked for a better team to complete this 10km with and all for a great cause.”
