Personalise a leaf to remember your baby or thank the Early Pregnancy Unit for the care you received

By purchasing a leaf on Lister Hospital's Early Pregnancy Unit's Giving Tree you will not only have a personalised keepsake to remember your baby but you will also be supporting the unit.

The Giving Tree is located in the Early Pregnancy Unit at Lister Hospital, where it can be seen by patients, families, staff and volunteers.

You choose the special message to be engraved on your leaf. All the funds raised by the Giving Tree will help us to go above and beyond for parents and their babies in the Early Pregnancy Unit.

The difference your Giving Tree leaf will make - a message from Fay Clark, EPU Matron

"Thank you for helping us to go above and beyond in the care we give in the Woodlands Early Pregnancy Unit. Your Giving Tree donation will help us to provide the best care and support and to create an environment that is sensitive to the needs of our women and their partners going through a very difficult time. Thank you."

How to make a donation and get a personalised leaf on our Giving Tree

1. Make a one off donation or choose to sign up to make a small regular donation per month (minimum of 12 months) by clicking the DONATE button at the top of this page

*You are welcome to give any amount you choose but we suggest a minimum donation of £36 or £3 per month to help us cover the cost of the leaf and ensure as many profits as possible go towards supporting our Critical Care Unit*

2. When making the donation write your chosen message and select your leaf colour - copper, silver or gold in the comment box. Please note the leaves are limited to 130 characters over 4 lines including spaces and punctuation.

3. Come and see it! We will let you know when your leaf has been placed on the tree and you are welcome to come to the Relatives' room to see it. Or if you would prefer, we can send you a photo.

4. Renew or keep? If you dedicate a leaf for one year, we will, as the end of the 12 months approaches, write and ask if you would like to keep the leaf on the tree for another year (for a further donation), or whether you would like the leaf removed from the tree and sent to you, for you to display at home

Terms and Conditions:

1. On receipt of your order form your request will be granted subject to approval of the inscription, availability of leaves and remaining space being available on the Giving Tree.

2. East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity retains complete control over the location and dates of installation of all leaves on the Giving Tree.

3. In exceptional circumstances East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity reserves the right to relocate the Giving Tree.

4. The minimum period for a direct debit is 12 months.

5. All leaves on the tree are the property of East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity until they are returned to you.

6. East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity will choose a suitable branch for your leaf.

7. Leaves will be removed once the donation period ends.
