Our hard-working NHS staff have cared for thousands of people again this year.

To show your appreciation, we are inviting you make a donation and leave a message to add to a ‘Christmas Star’ to display in our hospitals. 

Your message could be to thank a particular member of staff or a hospital department for the care they have given, or if you prefer, it could be a message dedicated to someone special - perhaps to welcome a new arrival or to pay tribute to a loved one who has sadly passed away.

The stars will be hung on our Christmas trees to help make our hospitals - Hertford County Hospital, Lister Hospital, Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and New QEII Hospital - look festive for patients, visitors and staff over the Christmas period.

A message of thanks to our hard-working NHS staff will mean so much and bring a much-needed boost while they deal with the extra pressure which winter brings and working over Christmas.

Your kind donation will help support patients, families and staff this Christmas - from therapy ponies to refurbishing family rooms; from providing toys and games to funding the latest medical equipment; from creating beautiful outside spaces to funding advanced staff training, your gift will really make a difference.
