I was young when I found out I was pregnant with my first son. Although the pregnancy went smoothly the birth on the other hand, not so much. After 37 hours of my waters being broken and not progressing past 4cm I had to be taken for an emergency cesarean. Other than me and baby needing antibiotics due to an infection the operation went smoothly all thanks to the amazing team I had.

Pregnancy number two wasn't as smooth as the first, I had spd, was in twice a week for monitoring and growth scans every two weeks because of reduced movement and then diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 37 weeks. I spent a while in hospital due to complications and I could not fault the care I have from the midwives on the ward. I had to be induced on my due date which was a very quick process but ended once again in theatre as they suspected because of my previous section that my stomach was/was going to rupture. Once again the operation went as well as I would have wanted and was because of the amazing team I have with me in that room.
