We are proud to support our wonderful maternity team who help deliver over 5,400 babies each year at Lister Hospital and in our community

Working in partnership with consultants, midwives and parent groups like the Lister Maternity Voices Partnership, we fund new equipment, specialist items and other improvements for our maternity unit that are above and beyond those provided by the NHS, to help give mums and babies the best birthing environment possible.

We are currently raising funds to provide a Sonosite ultrasound scanner so women at risk of miscarriage have a scan at each visit which is not currently available on the NHS. This extra scan will provide much-needed reassurance to women who have experienced the distress of past miscarriages and allow medical staff to intervene if necessary to prevent early labour and birth and reduce the risk of complications.

We are also raising funds for the installation of murals on the consultant-led unit to make the environment more welcoming and relaxing.
