Help us fund special 'cuddle chairs and blankets' and breast pumps so our littlest patients get lots of love and hugs for the best start in life.

We are raising funds for six specially designed chairs that support parents in holding their pre-term and poorly babies even while they are still be connected to tubes. 

It is so important for parents to be able to cuddle and bond with their new born baby. These chairs ensure parents feel safe and secure when holding, hugging and feeding their little ones. 

The chairs cost approximately £2,200 each and we want to buy six new ones so that every parent has the opportunity to use one. 

We would also like to fund Zaky Hug blankets which can be used on the unit. These special blankets are engineered to extend the mothers nurturing touch when they cant be there to hold them giving warmth and scent to support relaxation, sleep, bonding, pain management and therapeutic care. 

Each blanket costs £120 each and we would like 15 for the unit.

We also want to provide four breast pumps, three milk warmers and privacy screens to support mothers with supplying breastmilk and feeding their new babies.

The breast pumps cost approximately £2,100 each and the warmers are £1,500 each.
