Corporate Partnerships

Our local business community is invaluable and we are hugely grateful to businesses like yours which help us raise thousands of pounds every year, so we can provide extraordinary care to patients and visitors across our hospitals.

We are proud of the relationships we have with our partners, whether they are small local businesses or large multi-nationals and we are always looking for new and exciting ways to work together with our community.

Whether or not your company has worked with a charity before, we can tailor a partnership specifically for you and support you every step of the way. From a one-off fundraising event, to a long term strategic partnership, your support will make a huge difference.

How can your Business get Involved?

Charity of the Year

Making East & North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity your Charity of the Year will provide you with the unique opportunity to make a difference to your local hospital. In everything we do, we go above and beyond for our patients, which we cannot do without support from companies like yours.

As well as providing your staff with the feel good factor of supporting an important cause, you will work with your dedicated fundraiser to create a calendar of events which will engage your staff and ensure that you meet your business and Corporate Social Responsibility aims.

Corporate Sponsorship

Sponsoring one of our events is great way for your business to reach our audience as well as helping us to raise vital funds.

You can sponsor any one of our annual events, which include sporting events and our annual Staff Awards evening. You can also sponsor a piece of equipment at one of our hospitals; this will make a significant impact to our patients and visitors.

We currently have sponsorship opportunities available for our Staff Awards, to find out more please click here.

If you are interested in learning more about Corporate Sponsorship, please contact Beth at [email protected]

Make a Donation

We are always hugely grateful to receive donations towards our vital pieces of equipment, cutting edge research and special extras for our patients and visitors. If you would like to make a contribution to a specific hospital, appeal or service we would be delighted to hear from you. You can donate directly to the Charity, or read about our current appeals.

If you would like to support our Charity by donating goods or providing Pro Bono work please get in touch with the team.

Volunteering

We have a number of volunteering opportunities which provide an excellent way for your team to give back to the local community. Whether it’s doing arts and crafts with the children in one of our wards, running a stall in the Charity Corner at the Lister or organising a collection at a supermarket, we would love to have you on board. Visit our volunteering page to learn more.

Payroll Giving

You can help support our Charity through your place of work by making a regular donation through your payroll. Not only is it a simple way to support us, it's also the most tax effective.

  • Your donation is tax free because it’s taken directly from your salary, which means the cost to you is less than the amount you pledge
  • Payroll Giving is a scheme that allows people paid through PAYE to make donations to any UK registered charity - tax free
  • How does it work? You give a fixed amount from your salary each month. For example, if you donate £10, only £8.00 comes out of your salary and the Inland Revenue pays the rest.

How we Support our Corporate Partners

  • We have many opportunities to increase your business profile whether it’s through thanks on our social media platforms, on our website or through local press
  • Receiving thanks and certificates to display in the workplace
  • Opportunity to have a guided tour of our hospitals so you can see where your funds have been spent and the impact they have made
  • Support from a dedicated member of the Charity Team
  • Help to achieve your Corporate Social Responsibility objectives
