Cura grants Cura and East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity are proud to offer grants to individual patients who are being treated by East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust for cancer. The grants will be in the region of £300. Applications can be submitted either by the patient or on their behalf by a health care professional. Applications must be recommended by a member of staff working in cancer services at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. You must put the staff members name on the form, without this it will be ineligible. You must be being treated by East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust. Previous grants have gone towards: Bras, prosthetics, clothing Help in the home with cleaning or child-care Special days, breaks or treats to make lasting memories Household appliances (unless landlord owned and therefore their responsibility) Transport for hospital appointments, unless patient transport is available and appropriate Unfortunately, we cannot contribute towards fuel bills. All grants must provide a direct benefit to the patient being treated by East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust for cancer. To apply for a grant, please complete our application form here Applications will be assessed every two months (subject to change). If the request needs to be fast tracked the member of staff who has supported the application can make that request. Information for staff referrals - downloadable PDF. Please note, sadly due to the large number of applications we receive, we are afraid we are unable to provide individual feedback on applications. Please do not call/email the charity team for an update as they are separate to this process and sadly will not be able to help. Manage Cookie Preferences
