Bev Summerhayes has enthusiastically supported the charity's Sunshine Appeal which will create outside spaces for staff and our most poorly patients. She also sits on the shortlisting panel for our Walter Cooper Professional Development Bursary and is passionate about helping our nurses and midwives receive charity funding for training and development opportunities that are above and beyond the obligation of the NHS.

Bev constantly looks for opportunities to showcase the talents of our clinical colleagues within the Trust and was pivotal in the process which led the Trust to be the second in the UK to receive the Pathway to Excellence designation.

Bev has worked with the charity to enable our bereavement team to provide a better experience for our bereaved families and has also used charity funding to help provide recognition and celebration events for our nurses and midwives.
