Friends of Lister Hospital – a group who raises funds to support patients and staff at the hospital in Stevenage – have donated £3,000 to Make a Workplace Wish, our campaign to help make Christmas wishes come true for staff.

Staff have been invited to submit their wishes which include items such as kettles for their staff areas, a microwave so they can cook a hot meal or artwork to decorate the walls.

Lynda Simmons from Friends of Lister Hospital said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Make a Workplace Wish for East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity. It’s lovely to be able to fulfil the wishes of the staff and provide items that will brighten their workspace or make their busy day a little easier.”

Eloise Huddleston, charity director said: “Thank you so much to Friends of Lister Hospital for their generous donation to help make wishes come true for our NHS staff.

“We all know how hard our staff work caring for our patients so to be able to provide items to help make things a little easier for them, especially in the run up to Christmas, is wonderful.”
