East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity was registered in 1996 to support and enhance the fantastic care provided by staff at the hospitals within East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust - the Lister in Stevenage, the New QEII in Welwyn Garden City, Hertford County Hospital in Hertford and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC) in Northwood, North London.

Today, more than 550,000 people are cared for at these four hospitals each year.

The charity funds projects such as extra equipment, small refurbishments, research, items to make being in hospital a little easier, staff development and reward schemes - all of which which complement services provided by the NHS, helping the trust to reach its objective of being among the best healthcare providers in the country.
