Hitchin Hard Half Marathon

The Hitchin Hard Half Marathon is returning to Hitchin Town and we are very excited to announce that we are the partner charity for this much loved community running event.

The event starts and ends in the beautiful grounds at Hitchin Priory with the course taking runners on the scenic Chiltern countryside to Preston and Offley Holes Hill before looping back. The half marathon route is fully marshalled with 5 water stations and there is an event cut off time of 3 hours (race start time of 9.30am).

Runners can expect the following on the day:

• Race bib (with integrated timing chip). This will be allocated to you at the registration desk.
• Electronic timing and online live results
• Race village – with food, drink and merchandise stalls
• Music at the start and finish
• Baggage drop
• Race medal
• Awards ceremony
• Downloadable finisher certificate
• Drink stations on course and at the finish
• Medical provision at start, finish and on course
• Course safety – signposted mile markers and enthusiastic marshals
• Toilets at Race HQ

Proceeds raised from the day will be supporting our hospitals and every runner who pledges to raise over £50 for our charity will be awarded with a free charity branded running vest to wear on the day!
