Becky wanted to raise funds for LAKPA (Lister Area Kidney Patients Association) so she signed up to do a big challenge - a 120ft abseil down the Affinity Water Tower in Harlow!

Becky, 23, from Harlow in Essex, wanted to do the abseil to raise funds to thank LAKPA for their support. Becky had three kidney operations three years ago but has struggled with chronic kidney problems and pain since then.

Unfortunately, Becky had to have emergency kidney surgery the day before the abseil and was unable to take part so her amazing mum, Sue, took on the challenge herself.

Sue is nurse at North East London NHS Foundation Trust and did the abseil in her nurses' scrubs! What a hero!

Becky and Sue raised a fantastic £615 for LAKPA. Well done, and thank you, both of you!
