East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity works hard to develop good relationships with the local business community.

Sometimes this means we are kindly given donated goods.

In instances like this, the charity has little control over the amount of goods donated.

The charity will, if possible, accept these donations so as many staff as possible can benefit.

The donated goods will be distributed to staff on a first come, first served basis.

All staff will be asked to take just one item, or where appropriate, a limited number, with agreement from charity staff.

We understand that unfortunately, some people will miss out due to their shift patterns but we work hard to ensure that as many people as possible benefit from these kind donations.

To help us manage donations like this we ask that you do not take more than the stated amount and to respect the team who are managing the distribution.

Where the charity purchases goods we have more control over what we receive and ensure plans are in place for all staff to benefit, regardless of their shift patterns.
