Staff from across the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust competed in Clinical Support Services’ sell out quiz on the 12th September, raising £3,011 for the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity.

The quiz, organised by Natasha Simper and Jodie McElligott, took place at the Granby Pub where the Project Management Office team were crowned champions in an incredibly tight competition. The evening also included a raffle thanks to generous support from a number of local companies.

Every penny raised from the quiz will support the Hospitals’ Charity Interventional Radiology recovery area appeal. By creating a purpose-built recovery area at the Lister, the patient’s treatment environment and experience will be significantly enhanced whilst also allowing the specialist radiology team to see an additional 500 patients every year.

Speaking after the quiz, Natasha Simper said:

“The quiz was a huge success and it was brilliant to see over 95 members of staff from all areas of the Trust come together for a great cause.

“All money raised from this event will make such a huge difference and help us to go above and beyond for our patients.”
