Mount Vernon Comforts Fund has very kindly awarded £45,589.67 to fund three projects at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre to support patients having treatment at the centre.

Their generous donation has helped to purchase outdoor seating and pergolas for patients and staff to enjoy in our outdoor spaces at the centre.

They have also funded a scanner and oscillation machine to treat patients with lymphoedema as well as funding a brand new ‘respiratory phantom’ with a synchronised chest and tumour motion.  This innovative piece of equipment uses cutting-edge imaging techniques on our radiotherapy machines which will be transformative for those with breast and lung conditions.
