We would like to invite all staff to get involved with our Children's Big Build to raise funds to transform the new children's unit at Lister Hospital.

We need your help to raise £2million to make the new unit more than just a building, but a magical, state-of-the-art centre of excellence here in the heart of our community.

There are lots of different ways staff can get involved in supporting this new appeal:

Events

Why not sign up to one of our exciting events and fundraise for the appeal?

If there is a challenge you have always wanted to take on, why not speak to us about our bespoke event packages.

Schools

Can your child's school get involved? If you are able to, why not ask them to support? Schools can:

  • hold a non-uniform day or bake sale to raise funds
  • donate a percentage of proceeds from school fetes or performances

Community Groups

Are you part of a local group? Would they like to get involved in fundraising? From sports clubs to religious groups, we would like to invite our community to get behind this appeal.

Any school or group that raises £500 will be honoured with a named brick on our thank you mural in the new unit.

Workplace fundraising

Do you have a family member that owns a business? If so, would they like to pledge their support for the appeal?

Alternatively, why not ask friends or family if they can arrange a work place fundraiser like a bake sale?

Employees can often nominate a cause for their company’s 'Charity of the Year', often with match funding for any fundraising they do.

Staff Incentive Programme

To recognise our wonderful staff who support this appeal we would like to offer:

  • Charity pin badge for any member of staff who sets up a fundraising page
  • Full fundraising support from our team
  • Sharing your event and story on our socials
  • Certificate to display in your department
  • Charity T-shirt for raising over £100
  • Named brick on our thank you mural in the new centre for staff who raise £500

To pledge your support or find out more please contact us on [email protected] or 01438 285812.
